And now for something completely similar...

This week's podcast is on its way but as we only recorded it late on Tuesday it won't be up until later in the day than usual. Not to fear your Wednesday dose of Stage Clear is assured, but just not as prompt as we've been so far.

In the meantime we figured we'd launch a new feature. Perrin's started playing EVE Online, his first serious spin with an MMO and he's been documenting it as a series of short videos. The first three are now available for viewing online and we might put up a download version once we get around to it.

This is the first of what we hope will be many video features on Stage Clear, so if you want to give these a spin check out our EVE Online Diaries page and let us know what you think.

Everyone i know slates Eve

Everyone i know slates Eve barring the ones who play it. The fact it was so complicated is what intriged me to play it. A player gave me this analogy.

WoW and other MMO's give you a cookie for everything you do, even if you don't do it very well. Eve looks at you, steals your cookies then laughs at you for bringing them in the first place. But over time, you'll find them, and love them even more.

I quit for the simple reason i didn't wanna pay a months subscription for a 2 week training skill that would correct a nooby mistake i made when i started. The game, if you can handle its harshness of playing (i.e. no guiding hand), is incredible.
